This 8-year-old computer served me in Bible ministry for several years until a couple of things went wrong and I couldn’t get it to run MacOS any more. Instead of sending it in for recycling after I replaced it, I loaded Linux on it and repurposed it as a Bibledit server. It is in active use by a Bible translator in Europe, who uses it to work on Bible translations and to send them to me for automatic draft updates on eBible.org. It also serves as a time and weather display.
Do you remember Bezalel in the Bible? (You can refresh your memory of Bezalel in Exodus 31, 35, and 36.) God is the God of workmanship and technology, as well as the God of all Creation. The Holy Spirit regularly helps me with many complex technical issues related to my Bible distribution work. For example, when the SSD failed in the main server in my office (not the one in the picture), God had already prompted me to order a replacement and have the data backed up, and I had it available when it was needed. That saved a couple of weeks of downtime, because that part is not stocked locally. God is awesome!
Just as Bezalel created beautiful items used in worship in the Tabernacle, God is working through me to build the Body of Christ by getting His Word to more people in more languages using the skills He has blessed me with. This last week, it was my joy to add 27 new Bible translations to eBible.org and update 72 existing Bible translations just this last week! More are on the way, as I now have a much more efficient way to get Bible translations from the Digital Bible Library.
The Bible distribution counter page at eBible.org/metrics is back online and being updated daily. Thank God that with your help, we now have over 456 million deliveries in 1,416 Bible translations logged.

- God protected Rachel from injury when a pickup truck side-swiped the vehicle she was driving.
- I (Michael) got a good report from the doctor: he couldn’t find anything suspicious to biopsy, in spite of the CT scan. (I had asked God to take care of that before the doctor got to it.)
- My nose is healing well! The last few nights, I have had the best quality sleep that I have had in a long time, because I can now breathe through my nose all night long.
- Digital Bible Library import automation is improved, now.
