John 3:16 in Spanish
November is Global Bible Month. It is a time to encourage everyone to start a habit of reading the Holy Bible daily. This is also a time that I celebrate an over-and-above answer to prayer. About 10 years ago, I had no modern Spanish Bible translations on eBible.org and just one archaic Spanish Bible translation. That lack wasn’t for lack of trying. That seemed to be vastly underserving such a large language group. Spanish actually has more native speakers than English does. I kept praying about that. Fast forward to today. We currently offer twelve Spanish Bible translations, including seven modern Spanish Bible translations that are free to copy and share. One of those came online just this last Friday, the 6th of November. Now Spanish speakers can download and read Bible translations that best fit their regional dialect and style, all with the same life-giving Good News of Jesus Christ. Praise God!
Thank you for helping us make this ministry possible with your prayers and support!
Thank God that
- We have distributed more than 724 million Scriptures in 1,548 Bible translations from our Bible web sites. That is 10 million more deliveries and 4 more Bible translations compared to last week.
- God is our Provider, Healer, and Savior!
- God’s Word never returns to Him without doing what He sent it to do. (Isaiah 55:11)
Prayer Requests
- That I would be able to efficiently finish eBible.org front page beautification and audio web page index generation, as well as improving the user interface to adapt to major languages.
- Pray for provision, protection, health, and wisdom for all who are working on Bible translation, Bible study software, and Bible web sites.
- Wise balancing of competing time demands.
How can we pray for you, today?
