Lori kayaking with her friend, Michelle, in Vietnam
Lori went on a vacation in Vietnam with her teacher friend, Michelle, just for fun. Don’t worry. The trip was funded by Lori’s public school retirement pay, not our mission donations. While there, she suddenly lost vision in her left eye. She can still see with her right eye, but not well enough to read long or see small details. She has seen doctors in Vietnam. They think her retina is still attached, according to a ultrasound scan, but they can’t see it because of too much blood in the vitreous humor. On a doctor’s recommendation, she is cutting her trip short and flying back home for treatment. Please pray for complete restoration of vision, safe travel home with her friend, and favor with insurance companies, airlines, and hotels.

Bibles for Vietnam
Coincidentally, we host nine Bible translations for languages spoken in Vietnam on eBible.org. Religion is tightly controlled by by the government in Vietnam, but there is reasonably good access to Bibles over the Internet.
Thank you for your prayers, support, and encouragement. May God bless you for helping us to follow His leading to provide Bible access to people all over the world in the languages and formats that work for them.

Jesus asked him, “What do you want me to do for you?”
The blind man said to him, “Rabboni, that I may see again.”
Jesus said to him, “Go your way. Your faith has made you well.” Immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus on the way.—Mark 10:51-52, World English Bible
Please Keep Praying
Thank God for:
- All of our Bible web sites are up and running with increased speed and reliability after some recent hardware and software upgrades.
- Our electricity and Internet service stayed online at our house (including our new Bible hosting data center) in spite of the epic rain and wind on Maui. (14.49 inches of rain in our back yard in 2 rainstorms, with wind gusts over 30 MPH; lots of power outages on the island.)
- More than 632 Million Scripture deliveries in 1,538 Bible translations from eBible.org and associated sites! That is an increase of 8 million Bible downloads and chapter views over the last 2 weeks, even though I disabled counting of AI bot traffic. Hallelujah!
Please pray for:
- Complete restoration of Lori’s vision and safe travel for her to come home
- Wisdom balancing competing time demands
- Bible study software development
- More Bible web site updates
- Wisdom concerning printed Bible projects
- Implementation of a better way to post audio Scriptures
- Our ministry volunteers
- More Scriptures to be translated and released to freely go to more people in more languages
How can we pray for you, today?
