Michael, Lori, Kaylee, Evan, and Ellie on Memorial Day
Island living has some redeeming qualities, but after a while, it is really good to travel around and visit family and friends. Before leaving, I set up secure remote access to the servers in my home office so that I can do some essential maintenance from a distance. On our current trip, we get to meet some of our family and friends in Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Colorado. In Michigan, of course, we were very happy to visit with our son, Evan, and his family (above). We also got to catch up with some missionary friends of ours (pictured below) who served in Papua New Guinea at the same time we did.
On June 1st, we will fly to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to visit Ben, Naomi, Francis, and Mary.
In Colorado, we look forward to worshipping with church family in two places:
- June 7 at New Creation Church, Longmont, Colorado (9:30 AM)
- June 9 Ladies’ Brunch in Longmont, Colorado (contact Lori for details)
- June 14 at Molina Baptist Church, Molina Colorado (8:45 & 10:10 AM)

Michael, Lori, Molly, and Robert. We met some good friends that served in Ukarumpa, Papua New Guinea with us. They are now in Michigan, serving with Wycliffe Bible Translators.
Thank God that
- We got to visit with friends and family in Michigan.
- We logged over 640 Million Scripture deliveries in 1,539 translations! That is 4 million more deliveries than last prayer letter, and one more Bible translation than last prayer letter.
- We finished some significant network, hardware, and security updates for our Bible distribution servers.
- We have a volunteer working on some new free and open source Bible reading apps that will work with all of the Bible translations on eBible.org that we have permission for app distribution for. (Thanks, Robert M.!)
- We have a volunteer working on a Bible web site for a relatively new island nation. (Thanks, Jed!)
Prayer Requests
- Good, healthy travel to see family and report to churches.
- Wise balancing of competing time demands in ministry. Specifically that I would balance family time, self care, and ministry in the way that pleases God the most. Also that I would attend to the most important ministry items first.
- Selection of the best renter to share our house in Pukalani.
- A replacement for at least one of our old cars that would be pleasing to God.
How can we pray for you, today?
