The latest printed edition of the World English Bible is on its way from the printer in Europe to Broken Yoke Publishing in Colorado. It is traveling by ship, right now, since that is significantly less expensive than air cargo.
Do you need help with something? Finances? Health? Forgiveness? Stress? There is wise help for all of that and more in the Holy Bible. When you read (or listen to) the Holy Bible regularly, the Holy Spirit often brings appropriate Scriptures to mind when you need them. There are also handy lists of help topics that the Gideons put in their printed Bibles, app, and web site. I also really appreciate the topical index that our friend Lindsey Clifford put together in her Just Jesus book and web site, justjesuschrist.com. We first met Lindsey when she called us in Papua New Guinea. She had been having trouble getting permission to make extensive quotes of the Holy Bible in her new book, but then she discovered the copyright-free World English Bible. Being blessed to bless her and many other authors is one of the great joys of our lives.
With the help of our partners, we now have the added joy of giving free access online to 1,523 Bible translations in 1,327 dialects. Praise God for over 512 million Scripture deliveries so far from our own Bible web sites, and many more from sites and apps that we share Scriptures with. For example, there have been over 315 million chapter requests on the YouVersion app for Bible translations we supplied to them since January 1, 2025. There is more, but the numbers boggle my mind. The point is that more people are getting the help they need from God’s Word in their own language and in formats that work for them. Praise God for that!

Percussion band playing garamut drums (wood slot drums) at the Nyndrou New Testament Dedication on Manus Island in 2001. This picture does not even come close to doing justice to the amazing sound of the music these young men produced in celebration of getting a New Testament in their own language. Nyndrou and Nali are two languages spoken on different parts of Manus Island. Lori and I plan to help the Nali Bible translation team in person in September.
Please Keep Praying
Thank God for:
- Our prayer partners! Your prayers really make a big difference in our ministry!
- Resources to do whatever God calls us to do. Thank God for both those who give for our regular support and those who have given towards our next mission trip.
Please keep praying for the following aspects of our ministry:
- Planning our next mission trip to Papua New Guinea (to help the Nali translation team on Manus Island) and Fiji (for the South Pacific Bible Forum) in September and October.
- More monthly financial partners to cheerfully join us in funding our ministry.
- That our servers will keep running reliably while I have limited Internet access.
- Web site upgrades for eBible.org, Solomons.Bible, and Baebol.org
- Bible study app development
How can we pray for you, today?
