Giving Season

When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceedingly great joy. They came into the house and saw the young child with Mary, his mother, and they fell down and worshiped him. Opening their treasures, they offered to him gifts: gold, frankincense, and myrrh.—Matthew 2:10-11 (WEB)

Jesus Himself was the first Christmas gift. Another example of giving associated with his birth was the very expensive gifts given by wise men from the East. You can search the Scriptures and find much more about giving. I like to receive gifts, but it really is more blessed to give than to receive. (Acts 20:35) We really love giving the gift of God’s Word in the languages that people understand the best. To do that, we rely on the generosity of our partners. So when you support our ministry, you also participate in giving God’s Word to people all over the world (in 240 countries). Thank you for giving so that we can give even more of the Good News of Jesus Christ to the world!

Remember this: he who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly. He who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. 7 Let each man give according as he has determined in his heart, not grudgingly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.—2 Corinthians 9:6-7 WEB
