A rugged mountain near Kundiawa, Simbu Province. There is a cave entrance above the road towards the right side of the picture.
Inside that cave are some interesting, fast-growing formations, like this column. There is lots of rain falling on this limestone mountain, so the formations grow very fast. Passages have been blocked by new columns that grew in just a few years. Nate got to explore this cave while on a trip to show The Jesus Film to several villages in the area.
Besides showing The Jesus Film, several youth, including Nate, got to share the Gospel in drama.
Some of the roads were a little too muddy for four-wheel drive. That is when you engage the 20-leg drive.

Nate made some friends and learned some of the Kuman language.
Watch that next step...
...it’s a long way down to the road.
Nate is good at telling stories. There were plenty of opportunities to share his testimony on the trip to Simbu Province.
A crowd gathered to hear stories when Nate just sat under a tree to rest. In the background is a church building where the youth mission team showed The Jesus Film in the Kuman language.

Now that is the way to get around in these mountains!
The mission team was well-received by people eager to hear what the newcomers had to say.
